Handrail Fittings: Base/Cover Plates & Flanges
Flanges are used to connect pipes with each other, to valves, to fittings, and specifically for handrails. A cover plate can be connected to create a "blind flange". Stainless Steel: Gate Latch & Catch
The latch is named for its operation mechanism, and as such it uses gravity to close the catch. It works as the barricade is closing, using the force of the swing to push the latch arm past the strike plate and allowing the arm to fall into the catch.
This is an attractive option because it can also be self-latching, meaning that if the door gets captured by the wind and closed, the arm should fall into place on its own without any outside intervention.

Stainless Steel: Shear Nut
Shear Nuts are a break-away type of security nut, that provide a permanent fastening that is very hard to remove again once installed. Once the nut is fully tightened and maximum torque is achieved, the hexagonal drive head shears off, leaving the operational conical section of the Shear Nut permanently in place to anchor whatever it is securing.

Stainless Steel: Blind Flange
A Blind Flange (also known as 'blanking flange' or ‘closure plate flange’) is installed at the end of a piping system to terminate a pipe. It has no centre bore (hole), so there is no flow through the flange. A blind flange is bolted, rather than welded in place. This allows easier access as needed.
